Eyelash Extension FAQ

What is a half set?

A much lighter set of lashes which generally requires 2 week fills. Recommended for a one time wear, proms, grads, & other small events or just to try lashes out for curiosity.

Can you still have a natural look with a full set?

Absolutely! Lashes come in all different lengths and thicknesses. Whether you prefer short and full, natural cat eye, or even dramatic, we can accomplish almost any look you are going for.

Do I still need to wear mascara?

No. Its not necessary. However, for clients who prefer a swipe or 2 on a night out, we carry mascara specifically made for lash extensions.

What if I do not want to continue with my lash extensions?

You can let them fall off naturally, come in for a removal or blend with mascara until they are gone. DO NOT pick them off! You will damage your natural lashes.

Can I have an allergic reaction?

Its possible, and it can happen at any time, even after years of lashing. Your lids generally become puffy and swollen if you are allergic to the glue.

The best thing to do is book a removal and take an allergy pill right away. When people form an allergy to lash glue, its generally the ingredient in glue that makes it stick. There usually is no other glue that you will not react with, unfortunately.

Hypoallergenic glues are just less fumey but still can cause allergic reactions.

Will extensions damage my lashes?

They will not. If applied correctly and properly, they are safe and do not ruin your natural lashes.

Rubbing your eyes or tug or pull on the extensions because this can cause lash loss and even to damage to your natural lashes.

How often do you have to come for a fill?

Two weeks is the best time to come back for a fill. Some people can last 3 or 4. It depends on your natural lash cycle and whether or not the lashes are being taken care of properly.
